Limited Time Opportunity: Young Advisor for Midlands Collaborative


An Exciting Job Opportunity has opened up for Young Adults this month called Young Advisors.

What’s a Young Advisor?

Young Advisors are people ages 17-23 years old who are paid to deliver teaching and training sessions to mental health workers and services. They work alongside other young adults, university teaching staff and clinicians as part of the CYP IAPT (Children & Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) Midlands Collaborative.

If that sounds like something you or someone you know might be interested in, the collaborative is looking for up to 10 people who are:

• Passionate about raising awareness of mental health and advocating the views of young people

• Wanting to improve mental health services for children and young people

• Interested in getting young people’s experience and expertise into training for mental health workers and services

But hurry, you only have till midnight on Monday 25th September 2017 to apply. Applicants who have been shortlisted for interview will then be notified by midnight on Wednesday 27th September 2017. Interviews will then take place the week beginning Monday 2nd October using Skype or Facetime.
